Voters choose four state attorneys

VoteVoters elected four state attorneys in the November 5 general elections, including Monique Worrell in the Ninth Circuit, who was originally removed by the governor in August of 2023.

Andrew Warren, who was also suspended by the governor in August 2022, failed in his bid to regain his position in the 13th Circuit. Alexcia Cox will replace retiring 15th Circuit Attorney Dave Aronberg, while incumbent Brian Kramer successfully won re-election in the Eighth Circuit.

Here’s how the state attorney races broke down:

Eighth Circuit
• Republican Brian Kramer: 56.9%

• Democrat Yvens Pierre-Antoine: 43.1%

Ninth Circuit
• Democrat Monique Worrell: 57.39%

• NPA Andrew Bain: 42.61%

13th Circuit
• Republican Suzy Lopes: 52.67%

• Democrat Andrew H. Warren: 47.33%

15th Circuit
• Democrat Alexcia Cox: 49.19%

• Republican Sam Stern: 48.39%

• NPA Adam Farkas: 2.42%
