‘We the People’ — Palm Beach County FAWL celebrates Constitution Day

FAWL Constitution Day participantsPalm Beach County FAWL held a Constitution Day event Tuesday in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University Wilkes Honors College. More than 50 students attend and each received a pocket U.S. Constitution. Judge Samantha Schosberg Feuer said there was a robust discussion about the constitutional framework, separation of powers, and judicial rules and ethics. “What a fantastic event,” Schosberg Feuer said. “The students were engaged and interested and we had a great turnout despite the weather.” Tori Whalen moderated the discussion and the panelists included Professor Mark Tunick, Judge Schosberg Feuer, Judge Ashley Zuckerman, Judge Charles Burton, Judge Danielle Sherriff, and Amy Borman. Constitution Day commemorates the September 17, 1787, signing of the U.S. Constitution.
