Jacksonville’s E. Robert Williams Inn of Court honors Cohen
THE E. ROBERT WILLIAMS INN OF COURT held its inaugural banquet kicking off its 2019-20 term at Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville September 24. The keynote speaker was the 2003-2019 Department of Administrative Hearings Director and Chief Judge Robert S. Cohen. Judge Cohen reviewed the changes, accomplishments, and progress of DOAH during his tenure, along with candid assessments on the judicial processes and procedures from a historical and ongoing perspective. The meeting was attended by 50 members of the inn. Following Judge Cohen’s presentation, the current president, past presidents, and attending judges presented a Lifetime Achievement Award honoring Judge Cohen for his “progressive and visionary years of service yielding important betterments in the area of workers compensation law.” The E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court was the first workers’ compensation inn in Florida, established in 2007. From the left are Judge Timothy S. Stanton, Judge William R.
