Zuroweste wins Crumbley Award for practice management
ZACK ZUROWESTE is the recipient of the Solo & Small Firm Section’s 2019 Walter S. Crumbley Award, given each year to an individual who has made a significant contribution to practice management in Florida. Section Secretary Jacina Haston, former director of The Henry Latimer Center for Professionalism at The Florida Bar, presented the award during The Florida Bar Annual Convention. Zuroweste served as 2017-2018 president of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division and during his tenure established the YLD’s Legal Accelerator, an online mentoring library of more than 1,000 videos created by lawyers. Any Florida Bar member can access the Legal Accelerator through the member portal, and the tool is ideal for less-experienced lawyers in their first few years of practice. Zuroweste is a trial lawyer and shareholder at PersanteZuroweste in Clearwater. From the left are Zuroweste, Haston, past section Chair Jennifer Kuyrkendall Griffin, and Chair Pete Muschott.
