Understanding the LGBTQ community
For attorneys to help clients, you must understand them. South Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and South Palm Beach County Bar Association hosted a seminar on LGBTQ 101 Proficiency and Workplace Bias to help its members better understand the how, the when, the where, the why for the LGBTQ and TRANS Community. There was also some discussion on the science and history of trans people as well.
The 3 hour LGBTQ 101 Proficiency and Workplace Bias training was virtual and interactive. It was held on Feb. 23.
