A Timely CLE for Women Lawyers in Tallahassee
The Tallahassee Women Lawyers hosted a CLE on Nov. 12 for a look at the importance of public access to public records and freedom of the press. Three experts provided insight on the Free Speech, Free Press, and Open Government panel. The panel included: Pamela Marsh, president of the First Amendment Foundation; Mary Ellen Klas, capital bureau chief for the Miami Herald; and Linda Norbut, media attorney with Thomas & LoCicero in Tampa. They discussed the present state of First Amendment protections, the forces that shape those protections, and what lies ahead.
