Black Lawyers Make History in Broward County
The 17th Judicial Circuit and The Broward County Bar Association co-hosted “Broward’s Legal First,” A Celebration of Black Broward on Feb. 16. The event was held to recognize legal pioneers in the black community as part of Black History Month. The Hon. Thomas J. “TJ” Reddick, the first black male circuit judge was honored. His son, Thomas J. Reddick, Jr., accepted the proclamation from Broward County Commissioner, Barbara Sharief.
