Developing and Delivering A CLE Course for Your Bar
For a voluntary bar association, providing services to members is paramount. It’s also important and can be instrumental in enhancing non-dues income and improving the financial bottom-line. On June 30 voluntary bar leaders Braulio Rosa (Broward Bar) and Craig Shoup (Jacksonville Bar) and Florida Bar Certification Specialist Nikita Wilson provided tips on developing and delivering educational events that qualify for CLE course credit. Whether putting on a webinar, offering an online course or planning a luncheon, more than 80 voluntary bar leaders got a snapshot of the application process and how CLE credits are earned, what programs are eligible for accreditation and the policies that determine what qualifies? Both Rosa and Shoup gave examples of a partnership effort underway between local bars in several circuits to provide CLE courses during the pandemic. A recording will be posted shortly for those who missed the webinar.
