Diversity Award Presented to Sia Baker-Barnes
At the Palm Beach County Bar Association Bench Bar kickoff on April 6 , Sia Baker-Barnes was presented The Judge Edwards Rodgers Diversity Award ten years after she had the privilege of announcing that PBCBA was naming the award after him. The Judge Edwards Rodgers Diversity Award is given to an individual or organization that demonstrates a consistent pattern of commitment to the recruitment, retention, and promotion of diverse individuals and exhibits visionary and insightful leadership to confront and resolve inequities through strategic decision-making and allocation of resources. Said Baker-Barnes, a past president of the organization, “Judge Rodgers was such an influence in my life and lives of so many and I am so thankful to have known him.”
