Special “Bouncing Back” Sessions Planned
The upcoming Voluntary Bar Leader Conference on July 16-17 will likely be one of the most important hosted by the Voluntary Liaison Committee on behalf of the Florida Bar in the last decade. This is due to the obvious paradigm shift in the legal community caused by the pandemic. “We’re all at a different place now in managing our Association’s than we were before COVID, said Braulio Rosa, Executive Director, Broward County Bar. Rosa who will head up special “Bouncing Back” sessions at the conference said, “we will first assemble the conference participants as a whole, then have a follow-up session divided into bar membership size. According to Rosa, the three sessions will be geared to help small, mid and large size bars discover take always and tools that incoming bar leaders can actually use. Panelists include diverse representation from local, state, ethnic and specialty bars, geographically selected to bring a statewide perspective. These sessions are scheduled for Friday, July 16 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
