Webinars, Town Halls Set for Voluntary Bar Leaders
Florida Voluntary Bar Associations of every size will benefit from a series of virtual educational events, scheduled for June-November. While the June 30 webinar provided CLE tips for developing and delivering a course and getting credit for it, the other sessions are designed to also provide important information that will assist voluntary bar leaders to RESTART, REBOUND & RECOVER their organizations during these unprecedented times. The topics are based on a survey of needs that was conducted by the Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee in June. The schedule for the next five months includes:
July 28 – Town Hall on Member participation/engagement/retention AND A return to in-person events
August 25 – Webinar on Budgets and Financing
September 22 – Town Hall on Lessons Learned
October 20 – Webinar on Sponsorships
November 17 – Town Hall Open Forum
The events will be hosted by committee members. Registration for each event will be via an email sent to all voluntary bar presidents and executive directors. Please forward the information to officers, board members and past presidents.
